What can you do at a Seniors Centre?

As we age, it's important to continue to build social connections, as well as to know where to find help when we need it - these are things that Senior Centres excel at. There are Seniors Centres located in every quadrant of the city. Visit one soon!

Volunteers can help the most difficult times seem a little more comfortable, easier, and personable. If you have some spare time available, the Cross Cancer Institute can help you to use your talents in a meaningful and rewarding way.

Please come to this special meeting at Sage, this Thursday November 20 at 4 PM, with the Board of the Edmonton Pride Seniors Group Housing Project, and their special guests.
From the outside it would appear that things have been quiet for the past few months, while there has been so much happening behind the scenes. Join us to hear about the land, the progress that has been made, and to meet the Board and our partners!

The Art Gallery of Alberta is hosting their 3rd annual Senior Takeover Day on October 2, 2025– a day of programming for seniors by seniors!

Explore the AGA, enjoy a packed schedule of events including behind-the-scenes sneak peeks and insights about the building and collection, as well as opportunities for creativity and expression, including art making, film and dance to round things out.

Seniors’ Takeover Day is organised by the AGA’s Aging Artfully Seniors Advisory Committee. It is a great way to create new community connections, learn about Alberta artists and find new ways to interact with art.
