🌷 Ease Back Into Movement – March Tips!
Spring has officially sprung - even if Edmonton’s weather hasn’t quite caught up yet! 🌤️ Spring is a time that many of us are starting to move more, whether it’s getting outside for walks or tackling some spring cleaning and yard work.
If you’ve been less active over the winter, now’s a great time to ease back into it safely:
✔️ Start slow and build up gradually
✔️ Make sure your footwear and supports still fit and are comfortable
✔️ Use mobility aids if they help you feel more stable and confident
✔️ Take care when cleaning or doing yard work - bend, lift, and reach safely, take breaks, and wear a brace or support if you need extra stability
Staying active looks different for everyone - the goal is to move in a way that feels good and safe.
