Make space for LGBTQIA+ voices. Read books, watch films, and follow creators who share their experiences. Don’t expect q***r people to educate you — take initiative.

2. Use Inclusive Language
Respect people’s pronouns and identities. If you mess up, apologize, correct yourself, and do better. Language matters — it’s a way to show dignity and respect.

3. Speak Up Against Discrimination
Whether it’s a joke, a slur, or a policy, silence can be harmful. Being an ally means challenging homophobia, transphobia, and bigotry — even when it’s uncomfortable.

4. Support Local
Connect and discover local community programs and stores within the city. Edmonton is so lucky to have so many amazing and safe spaces that are owned or supported by the LGBTQIA+ community

5. Create Safe Spaces
