Pre-Order Your Fall Vaccines Starting August 11!

Starting August 11, 2025, Albertans will be able to pre-order their influenza (flu) and COVID-19 vaccines through the Alberta Vaccine Booking System (AVBS).

Here’s how it works:
✅ Submit your pre-order online
✅ In early October, you’ll get a text or email reminder to book your appointment
✅ You can even pre-order for next year (2026–27 season) when booking

Why pre-order?
✔ Helps the province plan vaccine supply
✔ Reduces waste
✔ Ensures you get a booking reminder when it’s time

Important:

Pre-ordering does not guarantee a dose — eligibility rules will still apply.

You don’t have to pre-order to get your vaccine — you can still book when appointments open.
