About Janice Watt, RMT

Janice received her 2200-hour Massage Therapy diploma with honours from MH Vicars School of Massage in June 2019 and is a licensed member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC). She is currently completing her 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Modo (formerly Moksha Yoga); keep an eye on the schedule at Metta Hot Yoga to check out one of her classes!

Offering a warm and welcoming environment, Janice creates space for you to ask questions and openly discuss any concerns, ensuring you feel heard. A passionate advocate of self-care, Janice offers relaxation and therapeutic massage, but believes a balance between these two approaches often results in the most effective massage therapy sessions.

Trained in a variety of therapeutic massage techniques to treat common conditions including tension and migraine headaches, postural dysfunction, and overuse injuries, Janice tailors each treatment to the client’s specific needs. Myofascial release, trigger point release, joint mobilizations, and assisted stretches are key components of each massage alongside open communication and client education.

Janice is excited to be a part of the team at both Naturally Inclined Health (8225 105 street) and Balance Massage Edmonton (14927 111 Avenue and 10016 164 Street) and is looking forward to becoming your trusted partner in helping you to balance strength and ease to help you reach your health and wellness goals.
