Meet Vicky and Phyllis, two residents at Points West Living Heritage House whose weekly bingo games have become a highlight for both of them. At 101 years old, Phyllis relies on some help to see all the numbers, and Vicky always sits beside her, guiding her through the game and sharing in the excitement when she gets a bingo. Over time, their companionship has grown into a friendship filled with conversation, gentle encouragement, and quiet moments of connection. With Recreation Aide Kristen bringing them together each week, their bond is a beautiful example of how residents in Connecting Care communities support one another, creating meaningful moments and enriching each other’s lives.

At Providence Place, residents showed what can happen when people are given the space to try something new. A small group interested in singing grew into a 15-member choir, complete with piano and bells. With encouragement from Recreation Care Partner Kris, the group practiced together and chose to perform at the annual community gathering. Singing in front of more than 120 residents, family members, and friends was no small step, but they met it with courage and commitment. At Connecting Care, we are proud of communities like Providence Place, where residents are supported to explore new interests, take chances, and discover what they are capable of at any stage of life.

At Connecting Care, we are proud to support teams who take the time to truly understand the people who call our communities home and the talents that matter most to them. At Pearson Place, Glenn is a gifted artist who continues to express his creativity through painting and drawing, bringing joy to those around him. This past Christmas, Glenn created holiday-themed coloring pages for fellow residents. With the support of Recreation Care Partner Alison, his artwork was shared more broadly, celebrating his creativity and helping him continue doing what he loves. Stories like Glenn’s reflect our commitment to purpose, connection, and meaningful living across our communities.

About Us

Connecting Care is a convergence of complimentary service groups into one cohesive company, benefiting from the synergies all can provide. Connecting Care’s focus is to provide the best service and leadership to our stakeholders.

Supportive (assisted) living is a rapidly expanding industry. Since its inception in 1999, Connecting Care has obtained several contracts to operate supportive living facilities and has provided consulting services to developers, not for profits and operators.

The Eden Alternative® focuses on moving away from the institutional hierarchical (medical) model of care into a constructive culture of “home” where Elders direct their own lives. The Eden Alternative® philosophy is focused on the care of the human spirit as well as the care of the human body.
