During Fall Prevention Month, we'd like to share effective strategies to help prevent falls:
➡️Exercise regularly to improve strength, balance, and coordination
➡️Meet with your doctor or pharmacist to review medications which may have adverse side effects
➡️Have your sight and hearing checked, and use glasses or hearing aids as needed
➡️Ensure you have proper lighting, your stairs are free of clutter, and railings are installed as needed

Recognizing the early signs of a stroke can save lives. Remember FAST:

👉 Face – ask the person to smile. Does one side droop?
👉 Arms – ask them to raise both arms. Does one drift downward?
👉 Speech – ask them to speak a simple sentence. Is it slurred or strange?
👉 Time – call emergency services immediately if you see any signs

Acting fast can make all the difference.
