We are excited to announce that Dr. Ibrahim will be joining our clinic and will be accepting new patients.

Dr. Ibrahim graduated from the College of Medicine, Baghdad University in 2000, and did his post graduate training in Iraq. He worked as a GP in emergency departments in Dubai, UAE from 2005 to 2013, when he moved to Canada. Dr. Ibrahim worked as an associate physician for general surgery at Misericordia Community Hospital from 2013 to 2023. He also completed 2 missions in Africa with MSF in 2019-2020. He finished his family medicine residency at the University of Alberta. Dr. Ibrahim is passionate about the longitudinal aspect of family medicine and is excited to build his practice here at Edgemont Health Centre.

We will continue to be open from December 28-December 30 from 9 am to 5 pm.

Please note due to holiday closures there will be a delay to get to faxed prescriptions requests from your pharmacies.

Covid 19 pandemic has changed the lives of many. This pandemic is on a trajectory where our health care system and we as a community are exhausted and on the verge of collapsing.

Edgemont Health Centre physicians and nurses are highly unlikely to provide patients with an exemption from COVID-19 vaccination. At this point in time there are literally no medical conditions that universally warrant a complete exemption from a COVID-19 vaccine. Physicians will only offer an exemption based on the latest medical evidence from authorities like Alberta Health, Alberta Health Services, the National Advisory Council on Immunization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

We are closed for the long weekend from July 2-July 4th (Friday through Sunday).

We encourage all to only access our after hours line for true emergencies that could be dealt with virtually, or otherwise seek help from the nearest ER.
Please have some grace not to contact the emergency line to book regular appointments.

Dr. Patidar is accepting new patients. Call and book your appointments!!

Dr. Patidar has a diverse background, he was trained in paramedicine prior to entering into his medical career. He completed clinical training in Chicago and most recently is a graduate of the family medicine residency program at the University of Alberta. He loves the breadth family medicine offers and has special interests in pediatric asthma, weight management, sports medicine and mental health. He is eager to provide comprehensive care for all his patients.
