There is a story inside me that I don’t share often… a testimony that begins with the element that has shaped me more deeply than anything else… maybe even more than sound healing itself. (I can’t believe I just said that! 🫢 but it’s true)
My journey with fire began 2 years ago, at 22 years old, when I walked across hot embers for the very first time. If you had met me then, you wouldn’t recognize the woman I’ve become. I was VERY quiet, hesitant, and unsure of my own purpose. My voice trembled anytime I spoke in front of others and making eye contact was extremely uncomfortable for me. I carried years of insecurity and anxiety, and my entire life was built around avoiding judgment. I lived so carefully that I didn’t notice how deeply I had caged my own power.
And then, I met the fire…
Walking that fire wasn’t simply something I did… it was something that stripped me, opened me, and allowed parts of me to finally breathe after years of being held down.
When I woke the next morning, I felt SO different… It felt like my whole being had decided overnight that I wasn’t meant to live small anymore. I was meant to lead, to guide, to create something that would help others remember their own power.
That was the day my business was born and who knows if NewStarSeed would even exist had I not walked through the fire. Because ALL OF THIS didn’t come from a plan or a strategy… no, it was born from the sacred flame, a direct transmission of who I truly was meant to be.
Since that first crossing, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve returned to the fire. Anything that no longer aligns with my becoming, I bring it to fire…. wether that’s fears, doubts, old identities, limiting beliefs.
Fire brings me the gift of transmutation, reshaping fear into power, doubt into certainty, and every old identity into a new layer of truth.
Fire has become my medicine, my teacher, and my mirror. It shows me, again and again, that fear only lives where I allow it, that transformation is always one courageous step away, and that I am free to become a new version of myself as MANY times as my soul calls me to.
This past October, my journey with fire deepened in a way I had quietly been waiting for. When my teacher, the powerful Nathalie Jackson, welcomed a small group of us she felt were ready for this path. Those five days were a true life changing initiation… meeting our deepest fears, learning to lead in presence of the flame, and walking the fire for five nights in a row. Three of those nights were spent walking embers, alone in ceremony, guided only by breath, intention, and the ancient voice of the flames. On the final night, we walked the infinity symbol, sealing a path that has no beginning and no end.
Nathalie was more than a teacher. She was a sister who held me through my entire becoming. And she has an incredible SoulFire Awakening Retreat coming in April 2026, a portal I wholeheartedly invite you to step into if you’re ready to meet a more powerful version of yourself.
Fire chose me long before I chose it, reshaping my life and awakening the woman who would one day create NewStarSeed. And now, I am so honored to be stepping forward as a leader of the sacred flame, hosting firewalking ceremonies alongside my teacher and guiding others through the same alchemy that transformed me.
