Lounges are one of those things that look “fancy”… but for me, they’re just practical.
I don’t love sitting in a packed airport restaurant with a bunch of tired, cranky travellers. I’d way rather find a quiet corner, a comfy chair, and just exhale for a bit.
I pay a yearly fee, and then it’s unlimited: a place to sit, eat something decent, have a drink, sometimes shower, sometimes even sneak in a nap. Every now and then you luck out with massage chairs or little extras.
It’s not about luxury. It’s about energy.
Travel feels completely different when you build in small pockets of calm instead of pushing through chaos the whole way.
This is one of those simple shifts that makes everything feel better… and way more sustainable.
