✨ Why am I always tired? — A TCM Perspective on Fatigue
Fatigue is one of the most common concerns I see in clinic. But in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), not all fatigue is the same.
Some people feel heavy, sluggish, and unmotivated —Others feel drained, thin, and restless.
These are very different patterns, and they require different approaches.
🌀 In TCM, fatigue may relate to:• Qi deficiency (low energy and strength)• Blood deficiency (nourishment is insufficient)• Yin deficiency (internal dryness and restlessness)• Qi stagnation (stress and emotional tension)
That’s why a “one-size-fits-all” treatment doesn’t work.
🌿 Acupuncture aims to:• Restore the body’s natural energy flow• Support organ function (especially Spleen, Liver, and Kidney systems)• Regulate the nervous system• Improve sleep and digestion
Over time, many patients notice:✔️ more stable energy✔️ better sleep✔️ less brain fog✔️ improved overall well-being
Fatigue is not just about being “tired” —It’s your body asking for balance.
