✨EyeRecommend Regional Training✨
Last week, we took our entire office to the Regional Training in Edmonton put on by EyeRecommend. We were excited to bring our team to invest in their ongoing learning and to level up on areas that we can do better as a team to serve our patients better!
We are grateful to be part of such an amazing group that truly values independent optometry.
We’ve been working closely with our coaches and trainers these last several months and if I may be bold - there is no other and none other that has helped a new cold start office navigate the challenges of business ownership than EyeRecommend 🫶
Special shout out to Charlene, Brandy and Wayne particularly! Your experience and insights are invaluable and we appreciate everything you’ve done for us so far and to come 🥰

Merry Christmas 🎄 & Happy New Year! 🎊
2023 … wow, what a year!
What a difference a year can make! We want to take the opportunity to thank every single individual who was part of this ‘something’.
The greatest gift and blessing we’ve received was the overwhelming support of industry, building team, staff, our families and close friends, and of course our valued patients. 🥹 Some of you have followed me around for the last 8 years!!
Doing a baby reflection on the year, it is clear that God’s hand was in on every step of our journey - good and bad, through the highest of ups and definitely in the deepest pit of our downs. Who we are and how we run our business is all because of Him. We give him the glory!
We’ll be taking a week and a bit of good rest and recharge so that we are ready to serve you more in 2024!

🎄Tis’ The Season!🎄
A special shout out to on gifting us with such a thoughtful gift fit for the Christmas season. It’s absolutely perfect for our tree in the office!
She was one of 3 very important individuals we reached out to around this time last year when we decided to embark this journey of starting our practice!
So great to have someone who is so in tune with our vision and taking it to reality. Stay tuned for more creations in the New Year as I continue to work with Nikole for other branding and resources to complement my vision!

✨Mood Board & Colour Scheme✨
When I was thinking about the potential colours and feeling of what the clinic and office should be, I had 3 goals and concepts to achieve:
✅ Elegant Contrast
✅ Calming & Warm Tones
✅ Classy Invitation
Equally as crucial, it was important to also define what I wasn’t quite looking for:
❌ Excessive ‘sterile’ or ‘hospital’ look
❌ Too bright
❌ Too dark
and did it again! They took my expectations and provided us with this amazing mood board. The overall feel focused on earthy tones together with different patterns and textures that help achieve that elegance and classiness.
Stay tuned to see how the mood board looks as it is translated from being a concept to reality!
