Michelle Lieu is a Registered Massage Therapist with the Canadian Massage & Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association. She is a graduate of the 2200 hour Massage Therapy program at M.H. Vicars School of Massage Therapy in 2013. She is also a former NorQuest College, Physical Therapy Assistant graduate of 2008. She has retired from practicing as a Therapy Assistant in the summer of 2017. Her experience derives from orthopaedic surgery and working with medically acute patients within inpatient hospital care and clinical outpatient care. Michelle is able to apply her knowledge in Physical Rehabilitation to her Massage Therapy treatment plans. She believes that massage is an important component for not only maintaining a healthy physical lifestyle, but a mental, and emotional one as well. She uses a combination of techniques to meet the needs of individual patients. Including Muscle Mobilization, Myofascial Release, Myofascial Cupping Technique, and Swedish Massage. Michelle has also taken extra training in Prenatal and Postnatal massage; she would love to assist you on your pregnancy journey. She is also interested in pursuing training in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), Infant Massage, and dabbling with the idea of becoming a post-labour Doula. Her favourite body part to work on include the neck and shoulders. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys gardening, running, and weight lifting.

Hello! This is quite the delayed introduction. But better late than never!

I’m Michelle, I have been a massage therapist for over 12 years. And honestly, the time has flown! If you’ve been with me since the beginning you have likely heard me say “I just love what I do, so it doesn’t feel like work!”.

I currently practice privately out of my home. We have two young children and our dog Lucy (who will likely greet you for pets upon your arrival). They make up the greeting committee.

I look forward in continuing to provide you with my utmost care and attention. And to also continue to learn and grow. So thank you to all my past, present, and future patients. I look forward to seeing you.
