We were thrilled to join the CWL ladies at St. Albert Parish who held their annual “Baby Shower for Gianna” on Tuesday evening!

Dr. Natalie Sleno, a valued contributor to the Gianna Centre, is pictured with our manager Vera after filling our Ministry Car to the brim with generous gifts and donations! We are so grateful to everyone who contributed to the evening in any way - your support is such a blessing and directly supports mothers and families in need!

We were thrilled to welcome Chef Joseph Forest to the Gianna Centre on Thursday for a talk titled “Nourishing the Body Temple: A Sacred Perspective on Food as Medicine”! His discussion of the connections between theology, good eating, and health was enjoyed by our full house of guests, which included staff from Catholic Social Services, volunteers, clients, and prayer partners. We’re very grateful to Chef Joseph for generously sharing his time and expertise, and we can’t wait to experience the effects of eating better to feel better according to God’s design for our health!

Last Thursday the staff and clients of CSS enjoyed a lovely meal and social time in the fine company of our greater CSS family! Thank you to the Edmonton CSS Social Wellness Committee for hosting this event - we had a delicious 😋 time!

Bubble fest, live music, and baby races, oh my! We had so much fun hosting the Market at the Edmonton Prolife Walkathon last Saturday, seeing so many of our wonderful moms, volunteers, and supporters, and cheering on one of our Gianna babies to victory in the baby crawl!
