A touch of green and a whole lot of gratitude. 💚

Last Tuesday, the University Hospital Foundation hosted its strategic partners for the first time at the Full House Lottery Dream Home — a milestone moment of gratitude and connection with a room full of partners, innovators, researchers and collaborators.

In a health care system operating at full capacity, prevention and primary care partnerships aren't a nice-to-have. They're essential. From Caring for Our Hearts to the Dementia Pathways Program, and a myriad of projects in between, our partners are helping us build a stronger, more integrated system.

$2.9 million. That's what happens when a community leads with its heart. ❤️

We are so proud to share that our community has raised $2.9 million over the past year to support cardiac advancements and care at the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute — including $450,000 raised during this year's Heart Month campaign, presented by Freson Bros.

These funds will directly support cardiac disease prevention through programs like Heartway and Caring for our Hearts, as well as life-saving technology including future upgrades to the Cardiac Hybrid Operating Room at the Maz.

None of this happens without you. Thank you to every donor, sponsor, cyclist, baker and cheerleader who made Heart Month one for the books.
