Our Signature Events team surprised a group of dedicated Festival of Trees volunteers with lunch today to say thank you during . It's so amazing to think snow isn't even out of the forecast yet and they're already decorating trees for Festival of Trees 2026 (once again presented by our friends at )!!

We couldn't put on such an incredible holiday event without the time, experience and creativity of these special volunteers. ❤️

We're looking for volunteers to help bring our casino fundraiser to life at Grand Villa Casino at Rogers Place — April 11 and 12, 2026!

Volunteer roles include general manager, banker, cashier, chip runner and count room positions, with shifts available throughout the day and evening. All volunteers receive a meal during their shift. No experience? No problem — we'll walk you through everything.
All funds raised support world-leading patient care, research and innovation at the University of Alberta Hospital and beyond.

Last Tuesday, the University Hospital Foundation hosted its strategic partners for the first time at the Full House Lottery Dream Home — a milestone moment of gratitude and connection with a room full of partners, innovators, researchers and collaborators.

In a health care system operating at full capacity, prevention and primary care partnerships aren't a nice-to-have. They're essential. From Caring for Our Hearts to the Dementia Pathways Program, and a myriad of projects in between, our partners are helping us build a stronger, more integrated system.

We are so proud to share that our community has raised $2.9 million over the past year to support cardiac advancements and care at the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute — including $450,000 raised during this year's Heart Month campaign, presented by Freson Bros.

These funds will directly support cardiac disease prevention through programs like Heartway and Caring for our Hearts, as well as life-saving technology including future upgrades to the Cardiac Hybrid Operating Room at the Maz.
