There are so many things that I have learned and experienced because of 3 Leaf.
I have had the opportunity to meet some amazing people, leaders in our community… who are doing things that have a profound impact on the lives of many. And I was reminded yesterday, as we delivered gifts for London Drugs to the seniors at Operation Friendship Seniors Society (OFSS) … just how special one of them really is.

And so, I wanted to take a moment to celebrate him… because he truly deserves so much love and recognition for his hard work and commitment to serving our vulnerable and often forgotten, seniors.

Jimmy Morrison is the community relations manager at operation friendship seniors society. And, my friend.

I feel blessed that nearly 12 years ago, he decided to connect with me on Twitter looking for support for OFSS.
And then again, that he reached out to me 11 years ago, to share that he had worked with his friends at London Drugs to set up a tree with 40 tags to try to make Christmas special for some of their seniors.

I could have never imagined that answering his call.. would have meant 11 years of tags, wrapping and delivering gifts along side the many wonderful people that I have been blessed to meet along the way.

Over the years I have shared what Stocking Stuffers for Seniors means to me, and I hope I’ve given some insight into what it means to the seniors whose wish lists you so generously fulfill. But what isn’t said enough.. is where this all started and whos heart continues to make this so magical, and that is Jimmy.

Jimmy is truly one of the best people I know. He is kind, thoughtful and goes out of his way to do for others. He is bright and full of life and he radiates a warmth that you can only understand if you know him. In fact he likes to remind me that I once described him as a “feeling”… because words will never really capture him. And if you have been lucky enough to be on the receiving end of his big heart, you know that “feeling” well.

He pulls people together from all walks of life and once you are there … he’s going to make sure you stay.
And this is easy to see, when you are at any of these events, like delivery day. As you talk to people .. the “why” they are there always starts with Jimmy (and of course for the seniors too).
But it is because he has brought you in… and made you fall in love with helping our seniors.. that you find yourself signing up to help, with this… or one of his many other volunteer opportunities.

And so, I just wanted to say.. I’m proud of you my friend.
For what you started 11 years ago with a single tree… For the way you bring people together and make sure that we always remember what an amazing thing this campaign really is. For all you do for the seniors and so many others, when no one’s looking.
The world needs more of you.

Spent the morning wrapping gifts for londondrugs in support of our friends at Operation Friendship Seniors Society (OFSS)

It was so nice to get to see so many friends from years past and witness the generosity of strangers.
Bags filled, with not only a seniors wish list, but also a lot of thought for those receiving these gifts. From hand made cards to lots of extra treats you can feel the joy this will bring.

As always I am left filled with Christmas spirit and the reminder of what this is all about.

After completing a fascial stretching and cupping course, ✨Jessica✨ is excited to incorporate these new techniques into her massage sessions!

What does this mean for you?
You can now book a 60, 75, 90 or 120min massage with/cupping session.

In these sessions Jessica will incorporate fascia based assisted stretching along with cupping into your massage session.

This combination, works to stimulate blood flow, reduce muscle tension, promote lymphatic drainage and break up fascial restrictions allowing for better movement, flexibility and overall musculoskeletal function.

Headed into London Drugs at Unity Square to pick up tags for Stocking stuffers for seniors (this location goes to support our friends at Operation Friendship Seniors Society (OFSS)

If you have been on this journey with us and have also made this a yearly tradition… let this be your reminder!
If you haven’t had a chance to shop for a senior, and are looking for a meaningful way to give back this Christmas… this is such a wonderful donation drive.

The details:
❄️ Head to any London Drugs (western Canada including locally Edmonton and area) and pick a tag off the tree. Each tag represents a seniors personal wish list (and some for community drop ins who were not able to make one).

❄️Shop for the items in store, or take the tag home and purchase items wherever you shop!

❄️optional- Personalize it! Add a card or extra items to make it special

❄️Bring the items and the tag back to the London Drugs location that you got it from by December 8th, 2025

Santa and his elves will wrap and deliver your gift to your senior before Christmas ❤️

Again, this is such an important and meaningful donation drive. As someone who has personally delivered these gifts … I can promise you it is one of the best things you can do this holiday season. (My kids love picking a tag and helping to shop like they are Santa).

Help us make sure these seniors are not forgotten this Christmas. And more than anything, let’s let them know someone is thinking of them and cares ❤️

Happy Birthday to our office manager Hannah!
I am reminded everyday (including today 🙈) how much Hannah does to keep 3 Leaf running.

There is a lot that goes into running a business. There are the obvious things that we do everyday… and then there are a million little things that get done behind the scenes. And it is because of Hannah that they are done so well. Because not only is she organized and good at what she does… but she truly cares.
She cares about 3 Leaf and all the people in it.
So today we celebrate you.
Thank you for everything you do.

Thank you for making lists and then making sure they are always checked off ✔️

Thank you for making sure we never run out of anything - not only do you keep on top of inventory but you literally highlight what I need to look at (haha and even then you have to remind me 😬)

Thank you for taking care of the plants. And learning to love them 😝

For always keeping on top of laundry. And caring about how every towel is folded … and for not mentioning when I mess it all up.

Thank you for setting up rooms, taking and retaking a million photos. For approving posts and rearranging retail. For all of the extra cleaning, scheduling and planning. And thank you for always showing up.

But mostly thank you for being my sounding board. For the hours you spend on the phone with me … so I feel connected when I can’t be. To listen when I need it. Thank you for being the quiet strength … and the one who keeps me going.
