As the veil of winter lifts and summer comes closer, the whirlwind of my coursework will finally quieten at the end of April. When it does, I’ll be able to slow my pace, step into my tiny apothecary, and spend some long-awaited time exploring some brand-new botanical creations, imbued with care and intention to feature in my shop.
Now that we’ve been nestled into our tiny home for a full turn of the sun, and the soil in my small garden has been worked and welcomed, I am excited to sink my hands into the earth and grow my own medicinal herbs and flowers to craft beautiful, small-batch, natural potions, salves, and balms.
I stepped into stewardship of Pure Essentials three years ago, carrying it forward from a dear friend. And now, it finally feels like the right moment to let it grow into something that reflects my own roots, magic, and knowledge as a community herbalist and healer. I’ll be honouring several of your most beloved recipes, while gently retiring others to make space for a new, simplified line of slow-crafted botanical creations.
This next chapter will be filled with mindfulness, creativity, simplicity, and joy, and I warmly invite you to come along.
