The pups of Cornerstone are back in the spotlight!🐾

Here are just a few of the dogs behind the Cornerstone team — the ones who steal our spots on the couch, join our walks, and make every day a little better (even if they shed everywhere).

Honestly, we’re all a little obsessed.

Winter’s not quite ready to let go, but spring is already making an appearance🌼

Happy first day of spring (and International Day of Happiness). Happiness isn’t about feeling good all the time. It’s in the small shifts - a bit more light, a fresh start, something new beginning to grow.

Like spring, it doesn’t happen all at once. It comes in moments, in progress, in taking care of yourself along the way.

If you’re working toward that, we’re here to support you.

Bringing a blast from the past this Thursday!

A lot has changed since 1977… and yet, it’s incredible to look back at our old newsletters dating back into the 80’s📬✨

While the look has evolved over the years, our heart for sharing meaningful insights, stories, and support with our community has remained the same.

Feeling lucky today? 🍀

Our team showed up in all shades of green to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day including a visit from Cornerstone's own little leprechaun to spread some good luck! 🐶

Dressed for the occasion and spreading plenty of smiles, our favourite little pug reminded us that sometimes the best kind of support comes with four paws and a wagging tail.

Here’s to community, connection, and finding joy in the little moments. Happy St. Patrick’s Day from all of us at Cornerstone Counselling! ☘️

At Cornerstone Counselling, every step toward healing matters and so does every donation. 💙

The Way to Wellness Fund was created to make mental health support accessible to those who need it most. Donations and profits directed to this fund allow us to provide reduced-fee and subsidized counselling services to individuals, couples, and families who may otherwise face barriers to getting help.

Your support helps us:

✨ Provide affordable counselling sessions for clients experiencing financial hardship
✨ Expand community mental health programs and workshops
✨ Ensure clients have access to qualified, compassionate counsellors and evidence-based care
✨ Create a welcoming, supportive environment where people can focus on healing and growth

Mental health care should never feel out of reach. Through the Way to Wellness Fund, we’re working to ensure that anyone seeking support has the opportunity to receive it.

Together, we’re building a stronger, healthier community with one conversation at a time.

Grief doesn’t only come from loss through death.

It can come from the end of a relationship, loss of health, loss of trust, major life changes, and more. And too often, people are told to “move on” without being given the tools to actually do that.
Our upcoming Grief Recovery Method® Support Group offers a guided, supportive space to process grief and begin moving forward in a healthy way.

Led by Erica, this structured program provides practical steps, meaningful conversation, and connection with others who understand the complexities of loss.

✨ Adults 18+ welcome
👥 Limited to 15 participants
💲 Cost: $360 per person
Subsidy may be available for households under $115,000.

🔗 Learn more about the group and register through the link in our bio or visit CornerstoneCounselling.com

Spots are limited, early registration is encouraged.

Today on 📚Reading Corner📚, we’re featuring a recommendation from our Graduate Intern, Lindsay: Self-Therapy by Jay Earley

This book introduces the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model in a way that’s accessible and easy to understand, making it a great resource for anyone curious about exploring their inner world.

According to Lindsay:
"It is educational and written for a general audience to be able to use the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model therapy on themselves. I like it as a manual for my IFS-based practice with clients. I think it would be beneficial for anyone looking to get to know the different parts of themselves better towards enhanced inner peace and harmony."

If you're interested in learning more about the different “parts” of yourself and building greater self-understanding, this could be a great addition to your reading list.
