About Us

The Travel Buggy is a Canadian owned and operated corporation. We sell a lightweight and portable electric wheelchair across Canada that is ideal for day to day outings and travel.

As our loved ones continue to age and difficulty with mobility becomes a natural progression, we recognized that there were no mobility aids available that were easy to travel with. For all the cruisers, mobility scooters, and power wheelchairs out there, none were truly portable. Instead, they were all big, heavy, cumbersome and expensive! As a result, we found that most users were forced to use manual wheelchairs or walkers where they could not take their power chairs.

We thought – what if there was a more functional electric wheelchair that traveled easily, and was foldable, compact, light and affordable!? Since we couldn’t find one, we designed our own, The Travel Buggy.
