In honour of National Volunteer Week, we’re especially reminded that it takes a village to raise a service dog. From early days to graduation, so many people play a role in shaping these partnerships.

Rocky will be stepping into a very special role as a facility dog at Life-Balance Counselling and Consulting Corp., where his calm presence and gentle nature will help create a safe, supportive space for clients navigating difficult moments. Dogs like Rocky can bring comfort, grounding, and connection when words are hard to find, and we know he will make a meaningful difference every day.
