It is with deep sadness that we honour the passing of Dr. Nolan Williams, a visionary leader in neuroscience and interventional psychiatry. His pioneering work in rapid-acting neuromodulation and the development of SAINT has reshaped how we understand and deliver Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, forming a foundation for the care we provide at Envision every day.

We are profoundly grateful for his life, his curiosity, and his compassion. His legacy lives on in every person who finds relief, hope, and a way forward because of the treatments he helped bring into the world.

May his memory continue to inspire all of us who work in mental health to keep striving for better care, kinder systems, and innovative treatments for those who need them most.

National Addictions Awareness Week is about more than awareness. It is about anchoring hope for people, families, and communities living with the realities of substance use.

At Envision Mind Care, we support recovery through a trauma-informed inpatient & outpatient programs, outpatient counselling and psychiatry, and integrated services such as nutrition, physiotherapy, and advanced treatments like TMS and Psychedelics when medically appropriate.

Today and tomorrow we are spending time with Alberta first responders and the community partners who walk alongside them at the First Responders’ Mental Health Conference of Western Canada - focusing on mental health, recovery, and long term support.

Today is World Mental Health Day 💙

This year’s theme, Mental Health in Humanitarian Crises, reminds us that even in the most difficult circumstances, care must continue.

Mental health challenges do not only affect those in the middle of crisis. The constant waves of heartbreaking news and uncertainty can weigh heavily on all of us. It is okay to acknowledge that impact, and it is okay to reach for support.

Wherever you are today, take a moment to pause, breathe, and reconnect.
 Check in with yourself and someone else.
 Even small acts of compassion create ripples of healing. 🌿
