As we get set to return to the office tomorrow - all of us at GHF are excited to announce our charitable program results for the first quarter of 2026!

For our Pair-For-A-Pair Program, we are very happy to donate proceeds equal to the cost of 212 pairs of glasses to our partner NGO, ! Their aim is to provide a sustainable model for eyewear production and delivery in developing nations around the world - focusing on local education, business development, and sustainable eyewear production initiatives in each country where they work! 🌎

We are equally happy to provide a matching contribution for the past three months to in the pursuit of addressing drinking water challenges in Canadian Indigenous communities - and to encourage Indigenous voices in STEM fields across Canada.💧

Over the past eight years at GHF, it has always been such a positive experience working in an ongoing manner with these NGO and charitable organizations. And we are looking forward to continuing these partnerships in the months and years to come! 💝

Today, we are thrilled to be celebrating Glasses Half Full's 8th birthday! What an amazing 8 years it has been - and we consider ourselves so lucky to be part of such a wonderful community on 124th Street. We want to send our appreciation to all of the patients, team members, and industry partners who have made this journey possible so far. And we're just as excited for the future years to come! 🎂

Glasses Half Full wants to wish everyone a happy Easter and a wonderful long weekend! 🐣🐰 Whether you’re going for a stroll with family, relaxing with friends or working the weekend away - we hope you enjoy whatever you get up to!

The office will be closed from April 3-6, and we'll be back open on Tuesday April 7th for all your optical needs! Have a lovely weekend and we can’t wait to see you!

These easy breezy rimless frames are making a huge comeback in the optical world! 🌎 Of course Glasses Half Full carries a rimless brand with a little bit of flair! Funky lens shapes and bright coloured arms 'cause if you're going to do rimless you may as well make them fun and fabulous! This is one of the tame frames..........pop in if you're looking for hot pink or electric orange!!! 💗👀🧡

As soon as Mary put these on, we KNEW this pair was the winner! 🏆 These angular gold aviators were actually an optical pair that Mary decided to tint with a lovely warm brown! 🤎 These were amazing as glasses but when Mary added the tint this pair really TOOK OFF! ✈️ They are soooo cool Mary! Great choice!

✨ Krista appreciation post! ✨Throwback Thursday to one our 2019 (ish) photo shoots and Krista is being the absolute ICON that she is! 😎 Krista does a tremendous amount of behind the scenes work with inventory and supplier management, coming in when the office is closed to ensure that everything is running smoothly, while curating our unique and outstanding collection of frames!🤓👓 We appreciate everything you do and you are such an important and loved member of the team! Glasses Half Full was created with the belief that optometry should be more affordable, easygoing, and fun – while still offering thorough and attentive eyecare services. And we hope that when you come visit us on 124th Street, we can make this connection with you too!

In our optical, all of our glasses are made exclusively by small design companies and independent brands. We believe in supporting innovators in the eyewear industry, and also bringing you better value when you shop for fashion glasses. As optometrists, we want to innovate optometry, while continuing to promote the importance of eyecare in the modern world – including through our relationships with our patients, and through our community programs like our Pair-for-a-Pair NGO partnership program.

We take inspiration from traditional eyecare and online optical retail, and we hope to strike the right balance – offering you & your family a new take on optometry that is thorough, interactive, and convenient.
