🔥 SI joint pain? Try this simple reset.

If you’re dealing with low back pain that feels deep on one side of the pelvis, especially when rolling in bed, standing on one leg, or getting in and out of the car… your SI joint might be asking for a little more stability.

This gentle exercise helps activate the inner thighs, glutes, and deep core — three muscle groups that work together to support the pelvis and reduce strain through the SI joint.

Here’s the idea:

➡️ Lie on your side with your hips and knees slightly bent
➡️ Place a small roller or pillow between your knees
➡️ Keep your hips stacked and lightly squeeze the roller
➡️ Slowly make small rolling movements on your top hip while keeping your core gently engaged

A few important reminders:

🦴 Keep the movement small and controlled
🧱 Don’t let your top hip roll forward or backward
🌬 Breathe normally — don’t brace too hard
⚖️ Stop if the movement increases pain

This exercise is often helpful for people with SI joint irritation, pelvic imbalance, post-pregnancy instability, or one-sided hip weakness.

⏰ Did daylight savings completely throw off your groove?

If you’re feeling unusually tired, foggy, or restless this week… it’s not just in your head. Losing even one hour of sleep can temporarily disrupt your body’s circadian rhythm — the internal clock that regulates your sleep cycle, hormones, digestion, mood, and energy production.

When the clock shifts, your brain has to recalibrate melatonin and cortisol timing. That means your body may still be releasing “sleep hormones” when you need to be awake… and stress hormones when you’re trying to wind down.

That’s why so many people notice:

😴 Trouble falling asleep or waking up
🧠 Brain fog and poor concentration
🍩 Stronger cravings for sugar or caffeine
😬 Increased irritability or stress
🥱 Mid-afternoon crashes

The good news? Your body is incredibly adaptable — and a few strategies can help it reset faster.

☀️ Get natural light early in the day to signal your brain it’s morning
🚶 Move your body to stimulate circulation and alertness
