💗 Happy Love Day! 💗

Today, we’re celebrating friendship and the connections that make a community stronger.

There’s something powerful about feeling welcomed, included, and appreciated. That’s exactly what Love Day was all about. Participants enjoyed pink popcorn, created friendship bracelets, wore their favourite red and pink, and took part in Speed Friending, a thoughtful, engaging way to meet someone new and start real conversations.

One of the most impactful moments was hearing people share what they value about one another. Those small, genuine words of appreciation make a big difference — and they’re something we can all carry with us.

This Love Day, we hope you take a moment to reach out, spark a new connection, or let someone in your life know they matter.

🐾 Happy Groundhog Day! 🐾

Today, we celebrated Groundhog Day by learning about the meaning behind the tradition and why the groundhog’s shadow plays such a well-known role. Participants also joined in by making their predictions. Most guessed that Phil, the groundhog, would not see his shadow, hoping for an early spring.

As it turns out, Phil did see his shadow, which traditionally means six more weeks of winter. That said, Groundhog Day predictions are only about 40% accurate, so we’re remaining optimistic that spring may still arrive sooner rather than later. 🤞🌷

🌿 Wellness Day at Chrysalis 🌿

Our program participants enjoyed a relaxing and meaningful Wellness Day focused on self-care, mindfulness, and healthy living.

Participants created beautiful mandalas to help reduce stress and anxiety, made homemade potato hand masks for a little self-pampering, and stretched their bodies using chair-based exercises to support movement and flexibility. 🧘‍♀️

We also had great conversations about healthy eating and lifestyle choices, and put that learning into action by making delicious yogurt parfaits with veggie cereals! 🥣✨

It was a wonderful day of creativity, connection, and caring for both our minds and bodies. 💛

🧱🎉 Happy National LEGO Day! 🎉🧱

Program participants had a brick-tastic time celebrating National LEGO Day! From building in teams to learning fun facts about LEGO, the day was full of creativity, laughter, and imagination.

Participants worked together to design unique creations, tested their skills in LEGO-building competitions, and showed off some amazing teamwork along the way.

It was a fun, hands-on way to practice problem-solving, communication, and creativity… all while having a whole lot of fun, one brick at a time!
