Meet Our Surgeons

Dr. Matt Snider
Dr. Matt Snider is a Royal College certified orthopaedic surgeon practicing in sports injuries of the knee (especially meniscus and ACL injuries) along with hip and knee arthritis and replacements.

Dr. Snider is a high volume experienced hip and knee sub-specialist who has performed approximately 1500 total knee replacements, 1500 total hip replacements and 400 partial knee replacements. With 14 years in orthopedic surgical practice he has very low, below average, infection and complication rates. He is in the prime of his career and he is now traveling to Calgary to provide top quality, experienced care to Alberta patients who otherwise would be required to travel out of province for private surgeries.

Dr. Anthony J. Costa
Dr. Anthony J. Costa is an FRCSC certified orthopaedic surgeon with sub-specialty interest in knee and shoulder related conditions, as well as experience managing most other general orthopedic problems.
Dr. Costa is also passionate about quality improvement and transformational change in orthopaedic care delivery.

Dr. Costa has performed many hip and knee replacements at Acumen Health. Dr. Costa provides total joint surgeries for the BC resident patients who travel to Calgary for the surgery.
