📢 You’re Invited to the Mu Sigma Interdisciplinary Academic Seminar!

The Mu Sigma Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, University of Alberta Faculty of Nursing, is pleased to host an interdisciplinary academic seminar focused on Aging and Care of the Elderly: Emerging Issues and Interventions.

Join us as we explore contemporary challenges facing aging populations and discuss emerging, evidence-informed interventions to improve care for older adults.

This seminar is open to members and non-members, with both onsite and Zoom participation options available.

If you are interested in delivering a 10-minute oral research presentation related to this theme, please submit your name, email, topic, and a short abstract (≈250 words) by February 8, 2026 to musigma@ualberta.ca, with the subject line February Research Seminar Abstract Submission.

We plan to select approximately six presenters, allowing 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions, and will notify applicants of acceptance by February 11, 2026.

We look forward to learning, sharing, and advancing excellence in gerontological and interdisciplinary scholarship together.
