Sonya went to medical aesthetic school in 2009 in Vancouver British Columbia. She worked in Vancouver for a couple years before moving to Edmonton in 2012. Sonya spent five years working for a dermatologist before deciding to purchase New Skin Laser Studio from her old boss. Originally located in Commerce Place,New Skin was downtown from 2012 (called The Boardroom) until 2025 when we moved onto 124th St. Although it was sad to leave downtown, we absolutely love where we are. 124th St. is such a vibrant neighbourhood and has so many amazing shops and restaurants and small businesses. Come see Sonya for any skin concerns, unwanted hair or tattoos!

This client had a carbon peel which we pair with a hydrating lactic and finish with a customized mask. All of our treatments are customized for each person. We all have unique skin and individual goals.
