Showing up. Getting things done. Keeping it together.
And still feeling exhausted, disconnected, or overwhelmed inside.

Therapy can be a place to slow down and tend to what’s beneath the surface — without judgment or pressure.

If this resonates, support is available.

Anniversaries and holidays can bring up strong emotions when you're grieving—and that's completely normal. 💛 Give yourself permission to feel, reach out for support, and create small rituals that honor your loved one. You don’t have to navigate this alone.

💬 How do you cope during these times? Share your strategies or support someone who may need it.

📣 Mental illness stigma: small changes lead to big changes!
❗️ Did you know that stigma surrounding mental illness prevents 40% of individuals experiencing depression and anxiety from getting the supports they need?
❓So, how do we stop this percentage from increasing, and how do we all play a part?
📣 The way we talk about mental illness matters. Being mindful while talking about mental illness is an important aid in slowing the stigma.
Ask yourself- when you speak about mental illness, or an individual who is experiencing mental illness, where do you place the words: mental illness, depression, anxiety, or addictions?
Person-First language is impactful. We need to remember that people are not their mental illness, rather, they are people who are living with mental illness.
🌟 When we put the person first, we are focusing on who they are, their journey, and most importantly, the way we can best support them! Check out the chart on the last slide, and see how you can change your language to be person-first oriented!

Emotional intelligence is one of the strongest predictors of relationship closeness. When we can recognize, regulate, and communicate our emotions, conflict becomes something we navigate — not something that divides us.

It helps us tune into our partner’s needs with empathy, respond rather than react, and build connection that feels safe and secure. 💛

✨ Want stronger communication and deeper connection? Start by getting curious about your own emotional patterns — or reach out for support if you’d like guidance along the way.

A lot of people wait until they’re completely overwhelmed before reaching out for support.
But therapy isn’t just for moments of crisis — it can also be a space for reflection, growth, and learning new ways of coping.

If you’ve been thinking about therapy for a while, that curiosity matters.
We’d be honoured to support you.

Some emotions get a bad reputation — like jealousy, shame, and guilt.

We often think we “shouldn’t” feel them, especially when they cause discomfort. But emotions aren’t good or bad — they’re signals. They point us toward what’s happening in our lives and what matters to us.

Notice them. Name them. Learn from them. 💛

Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be about romantic love.
It can also be about how you care for yourself.

Therapy can be an act of self-compassion — a space to slow down, be honest, and tend to what’s been hard.

If you’ve been putting yourself last, this might be the moment to choose support.

Emotions aren’t good or bad — they’re information.

They help us understand what’s happening inside and guide how we respond. Notice them, name them, and use them to take mindful action. 💛
