As I’m gearing up for the next season of dance and starting to work with other companies, I’ve created a separate Instagram account to keep this page focused on my professional posts. Looks like I need to update my social media so this information is easier to find!

It’s lovely to see that patients understand the quality of care my training ensures they will receive.

I graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, BC in 2012. My 3,000 hour program was intensive and I will be forever grateful for that training.

Having said that, I’ve also taken a 5-year program in Osteopathic Manual Therapy and am working towards receiving my designation soon.

I’ll continue to provide Registered Massage Therapy for my existing patients, but eventually I will limit new intakes to Osteopathy only. The demand for Osteopathic Manual Therapy - specifically from graduates of 4+ year programs - is growing in the Edmonton area and I am looking forward to being able to offer that care 💜

I am so grateful for all that 2025 provided!

Highlights:
-I moved my practice into a beautiful clinic space and am now working alongside other allied health professionals 🙌
-I started dipping my toes back into teaching fitness and movement classes, and I’ve been revisiting Somatic Exercises with plans to offer these techniques in future classes 🙏
-I reconnected with my love of dance, performing on stage twice this year and I was in a music video project 🎵
-I took a chance and joined a group where I knew no one, and now I have many lovely people in my life who I would happily call my friends 💃
-I allowed myself to be human - to sit with and process the craziness that is life and the human experience. I had many thought-provoking conversations with patients and thanks to that, I’ve grown 💜

Just over three months in my beautiful new workspace but it feels like much longer! 💜 I love how peaceful the clinic is and I’ve heard many times over the last few weeks how much my clients appreciate my warm and cozy treatment room. I’m enjoying having like-minded colleagues to connect with and I’d say that joining Remedial Wellness was a professional highlight of this year .wellness

I have some exciting plans and ideas for 2026, but for now, I am still in the busy season rush and enjoying these last few days of this year!

Shared my mat for a sleepy* morning somatics class today 😂
While my teacher lead us through exercises for our hands and arms, both of my cats were competing for a spot by the fireplace ❤️ At least their purrs were extra healing.

I can’t wait to start offering Somatic Exercise classes in the new year 🙌

What funny timing!
Social media is reminding me that I finished my Massage Therapy diploma around this time 13 years ago. I completed board exams and became a registrant with the CMTBC a few months later.

I’m currently in a similar process now! I completed my training at the Canadian School of Osteopathy in the winter of 2023 and am currently jumping hoops to try to obtain my diploma.

I apparently didn’t learn my lesson after taking a rigorous program like the West Coast College of Massage Therapy’s training 😂 It’s been 7 years since I began my studies at the Canadian School of Osteopathy 🙈
