Vanguard welcomed spring with a Easter photo shoot 🐰🌸 Residents and staff had their photos taken with adorable rabbits from HOPPY ACRES RABBITRY, it was a perfect way to celebrate the season and make some sweet memories 📸

We wrapped up Nutrition Month at Millwoods with a fun and informative day on healthy eating 🥗

Our Dietitian, Bash, shared helpful tips with residents, followed by a parfait making session with Greek yogurt, fruit and granola 🍓 It was a great reminder that healthy food can be simple and delicious!

This we’re celebrating a special Bucket Wish for Susie, a resident at Millwoods. 💙

Susie used to love going on group bus outings, but recent health changes have made that no longer possible. Through our Bucket Wish Program, her wish for a special shopping and lunch outing came true.

With support from the program, including an LPN, wheelchair accessible transportation and the company of our Recreation Manager, Susie enjoyed a day at the mall picking out new outfits and a delicious lunch at Tony Roma’s.

Moments like these remind us how important it is to create joy, connection and meaningful experiences no matter the challenges.

The Millwoods and Vanguard Pastoral Care teams partnered up with Recreation to host a colourful crafting session 🎨 Residents created stained glass-style art, everyone was excited to display their pieces for all to see!
