Mindful Movement, Mindful Communication and Mindfulness Meditation - A centre of mindfulness, compassion and community.

Mindful Montreal (MM) is both a studio and organization providing mindfulness based courses throughout Montreal. Our three main focuses are Mindful Movement (Somatic Yoga Practices), Mindful Communication and Mindfulness Meditation. Allison Ulan created this organization to offer engaging classes and programs in the deep traditions of Mindfulness. Initiated in 2010, MM purpose is to nurture health, compassionate community circles and engaged action spaces. MM classes are offered to the general public. Plus, special classes are provided to youth at risk and in programs in addiction recovery treatment centres. MM is for anyone who wants to start a mindfulness practice, desires support, and needs some inspiration from time to time.

Practicing Mindfulness is always best with others. Come participate in weekly classes throughout Montreal. Or support yourself by visiting our website at www.allisonulan.com and be inspired by articles, videos and other offerings.

About the Founder - Hi, I am Allison Ulan, a mindfulness meditation instructor and Yoga teacher since 1996. My interest in offering these awareness practices is to provide clear practices to access health, life balance and equanimity. I have been trained as a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher at IMS and Spirit Rock, an Integrative Restorative Teacher and Yoga Teacher (Vinyasa Krama and Ashtanga). I began practicing yoga in 1987 to heal severe injuries from a car accident. Yoga’s physical practices healed my injuries and centred my mind to progressed my artistic career to new heights. In 2000, I chose to let go of my dance career and focus in providing Yoga and Mindfulness classes in the essentials self care, alignment for optimal fitness and mental balance. Plus, I offer courses on the deeper stages of Yoga which develop emotional resilience, concentration and equanimity through Vipassana Meditation.
