When the body settles, the truth has space to surface šŸ§˜šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

One of the reasons I’ve been feeling so deeply nourished lately is the work of the Embodied Practice Series. The additional 30 minutes each session allows space to thoughtfully weave our weekly theme through movement and meditation—while also making room for what we often resist most: journaling.

While most reflection is offered as home practice, I make sure every practitioner brings pen to paper on their mat. One intentional inquiry each session invites the practice to be embodied—not just felt in class, but carried into the days that follow.

Journaling is one of the most powerful tools for transformation. After 85 minutes of movement, breath, and stillness, the noise quiets. There are no external tugs or pings demanding your attention—just you, your mat, and the space to listen inward.

Whether you’re seeking clarity around your desires or commitments, processing pain or emotions that may be dimming your light, or simply creating space to express gratitude and amplify what’s already meaningful, journaling opens the doorway to it all.

Not sure how to begin? Stay tuned for my next newsletter, where I’ll be sharing accessible, actionable inquiries to help you embody this practice more fully. If you’re not on my email list and would like to receive it, simply DM me your email.

The final Embodied Practice session takes place Monday, February 16th at 7:00pm—a grounding way to close out the long weekend. Space is limited, so I invite you to reserve your spot via the link below. This series has been a powerful way to begin a new chapter, and I can’t wait to share what’s unfolding next.

Monday evening’s session was an exploration of awareness.

We turned off the music and allowed the quiet to speak, noticing what becomes loud when external noise falls away. Practitioners were invited to inquire: What changes when attention stays with sensation rather than outcome?

One of the key understandings we explored is that yoga, breathwork, meditation—and even our daily habits—are not about controlling attention, but about noticing. In noticing, we regain agency. From there, we can choose more wisely. This is conscious living.

And just as important as noticing is how we return. Gently. Without self-judgment. Allowing old patterns of force and self-criticism to soften into grace.

The most common inhibitors of awareness are stress, distraction, multitasking, and digital overload. As you move through your day, notice which of these pulls on your attention most often. Then ask yourself: What is one gentle, realistic action I could take this week to create more space for focus?

This is Embodied Practice.

We have one final session on Monday, February 16th at 7:00pm. There are only a few spaces remaining. I invite you to save your spot through the link below and take this time—end the holiday by reconnecting with yourself šŸ’œ

The first practice of The Embodied Practice Series was all about slowing down. After adopting a slower pace, our second session weaved into The Sacred Pause, not to withdraw, but to create a deeper impact because when action comes from pause, it’s intentional.

We are conditioned to move away from discomfort by doing more but stillness reveals what motion has been protecting us from feeling. So next time you feel uncomfortable, instead of reacting and catapulting through avoiding what needs to be felt and heard, create a conscious pause instead. Impact increases when action is informed by presence, it’s in the pause where information becomes available.

When we pause long enough, we begin to hear what matters.

Our third session is happening on Monday February 2nd at 7:00pm and there are only four spots left! The series is a cohesive journey but each session stands on its own so you can benefit greatly from attending a singe session. 90 minutes of breath, movement, meditation and inquiry, I hope to see you there šŸ™šŸ»

Sometimes the most meaningful work we do is learning how to play again šŸ’œ

Play is healing. It nourishes the soul by reconnecting us to the parts of ourselves that never needed fixing. When we play, we soften the armour, drop the guard, and remember who we are beneath the roles, the rushing, and the expectations. It is one of the most powerful forms of regulation.

Registration for Integrated Space 2026 is now open. Join Meg and special guests for a weekend of embodied practice designed to bring you back to love, connection, joy and ease. Early bird pricing is available for a limited time — click the link below to learn more.

If meaning, rather than urgency, set the pace of your year, what would you release—and what might finally have room to emerge?

The Embodied Practice Series starts on Monday

An invitation to slow down and step out of the constant pull of doing.

These practices create space for your nervous system to settle and for you to listen—through breath, movement, stillness, and reflection—to what within you is asking for care.

The pace is intentional and unhurried, yet the work is steady and supportive, cultivating strength, stability, and deeper body awareness. Each session offers its own theme, forming both a complete experience on its own and part of a larger, unfolding journey.

This is a practice of softening the pace and releasing the belief that productivity requires speed. In the quiet, we begin to hear what the body has always known—truths that surface only when we allow ourselves to slow.

A few spaces remain. Follow the link in our bio to reserve yours.

Dates: Monday January 12th, 26th, February 2nd and 16th | 7:00-8:30pm

It’s finally happening!

After taking some time to unwind and realign I am excited to be offering a new public series starting in the New Year.

The Embodied Practice is a 4 part series is an extension of what I have been personally working with, defying the narrative that productivity requires speed.

These sessions are a personal invitation to slow down, unwind from the constant tug of life, and provide your nervous system the reset it craves. Each practice will offer you the space to sense and feel what within you most needs nourishment through breath, movement, stillness, and reflection.

Each session carries it’s own unique theme and they will weave together as a cohesive journey, yet also stand fully on their own, so you can benefit from attending one class or the full series.

Classes will be held on Monday January 12th, 26th, February 2nd, and 16th from 7:00-8:30pm at Metta Yoga South. Click the link below to learn more:

Silence — a luxury, yet so elusive these days.

I was listening to a podcast recently when the idea of microdosing caught my attention — not in the way you might think, but in relation to silence. Of course, sitting in stillness for extended periods is the most potent form of this practice. But let’s be honest — creating that kind of consistent daily ritual can be challenging.

So what if, instead, we learned to microdose silence throughout the day? Little pockets of quiet that help us reset, ground, and return to ourselves — even for a moment.

Here are a few simple ways I’ve been experimenting with this lately:

* Leaving my earphones at home when I walk my dog

* Driving without music or podcasts — just me and the road

* Eating lunch with no distractions, simply tasting and noticing

* Swapping my morning podcasts for the soft hum of my diffuser while I get ready

It’s amazing how these small, intentional pauses can create a sense of calm that carries through the rest of the day. 🌿

✨ Over the summer, as I navigated the transition of closing the studio, I found myself reflecting on what life might look like had I chosen a different path.

No regrets — not one. šŸ™ā€ØBut still… I wondered.

Owning a studio was one of the most meaningful chapters of my life — not just for the classes, but for the community, the events, the chance to create something that moved people below the surface.

To spark connection.
To hold space.
To remind people what it feels like to truly belong. šŸ’«

And now — just a few months later — I find myself doing exactly that again.

I’m beyond grateful to be collaborating with a company that’s redefining what it means to create space on your mat.
Together, we’re preparing to launch something truly special: the šŸ§˜šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

It’s an exclusive event — but I have two tickets to give away! šŸŽŸļøā€Ø

Hi friends,

This check-in is long overdue, but I wanted to pop on here and finally say hello! Life has been so full lately, and I can hardly believe it’s already been over two months since starting this next chapter.

My initial plan was to continue teaching classes in some capacity, but life presented me with an opportunity I simply couldn’t pass up. As a result, I’ve found myself busier than expected!

For now, I’m focusing on teaching private sessions, coaching, and settling into my new role—which I’ll be sharing more about in the next few days with an exciting opportunity to join me for an exclusive event as my guest ✨

In the meantime, I’m staying committed to nourishing my body daily, prioritizing sleep, and embracing this slower, quieter way of being that allows me to feel free and grounded.

I’m still working on what the next offering will look like, but I do know that in order to serve my current clients well, I need to continue taking care of myself first. So stay tuned, I promise it will be worth it! In the meantime, I am wishing you all a lovely Thanksgiving weekend šŸ§”šŸ¤ŽšŸ’›

It’s hard to find the words… but here it goes. After nearly nine years, our time serving the community of Windermere has come to a close. What a chapter it has been šŸ’œ

This space held so much more than movement — it held healing, laughter, tears, transformation, and the most incredible sense of community. The energy we created together here will never leave me.

I want to extend another heartfelt thank you to our incredible landlord, whose generosity made these last two years possible. At a time when it felt like our chapter might be ending, she offered us the opportunity to continue — and that gift gave us so much more than time. It gave us space to breathe, to connect, and to close this chapter with grace.

While the physical doors may be closing, this is not the end. I’ll still be offering private yoga, coaching, and online support — but first, I’m taking a little pause. Some space to reset and step into what’s next with intention.

To everyone who’s been part of this journey: thank you. Your presence, trust, and light have made these years more meaningful than words can express.

This isn’t goodbye. It’s just a new beginning. I will be taking a break but you will hear from me soon.
