ADOPTION OPTIONS is committed to providing professional adoption services. Since 1984, we brought together over 2000 families in Alberta. Our focus remains to be providing support and options to anyone facing an unplanned pregnancy or parenting but struggling and wanting a different life for their child. As well, we support those dealing with fertility loss and considering their options in realizing their dreams of having a family. We work with all community agencies and organizations to bridge resources and meet our clients needs.

Pink Shirt Day reminds us that kindness is not passive. It’s intentional. It’s spoken. It’s practiced in how we treat one another, how we show up, and how we build community.

Pink Shirt Day began in 2007 when David Shepherd and Travis Price took a stand after a classmate was bullied for wearing pink — a simple act that sparked a global movement rooted in empathy and courage.

Meet Bre & Taylor.

Best friends and biggest fans of 16 years, they’ve faced life’s curveballs with resilience, humour, and heart. Bre works in risk management and brings warmth and joy wherever she goes, while Taylor is a high school teacher known for his patience and kindness.

Together, they love travelling, trying new foods, LEGO, bubble tea runs, walks with their dogs, and learning something new along the way. Surrounded by a strong network of family and friends, they’re excited to grow their family through adoption and provide a child with a life full of love, adventure, and unwavering support 💛

Today, one of our adoptive parents has created WildScribe, an app designed to help families connect through time outdoors, observation, and journaling.

WildScribe encourages shared discovery, identifying plants and animals, building literacy skills, and most importantly, creating intentional moments of connection.
