today in order to get ready for a tournament we were invited to in May from Leduc Special Olympics we have started practicing doing games of 10 minutes. To have some fun with it we made a tournament layout with an A and B side. Congratulations to our A side winners, Joey and Adam, and to our B side Shelby and Steven! We will be introducing this format a few times so our athletes can get ready for their tournament! 🥇

Today was corn hole! Corn hole has quickly turned into a lot of the athlete’s favourite sport to play. Corn hole is new to Special Olympics, and we took the opportunity to try it out in Edson. The improvement and growth amongst the athletes is fantastic. The environment is positive, rowdy, and fun! It’s also a sport our athletes in wheelchairs, and walkers can participate in! Safe to say we will continue to provide corn hole 🥇

We have some exciting news! Lakeland Special Olympics has invited us to their shamrock challenge in March. We went through the scores, and chose 10 of our best bowlers! Pictured here are Destry, Trish, Tim, Bob, Hunter, Adam, Justin, Tanner, and David (not pictured is Jordan) and they will be representing Edson in Bonnyville in March! Great work and dedication does not go unnoticed! Awesome job athletes 🥇🎳
