I didn’t realize how much I was holding…
until I felt it in my body.
This stretch has been a lot.
You hear it everywhere—
calving through snow and wind…
new calves hitting the ground wet,
and the worry that comes with that.
Long nights.
Doing whatever it takes to get them through.
Feed running thin.
Winter just not letting go.
And in town…
even with the snow today, there’s that quiet thought—
what happens when it warms up again.
You can feel it in people.
That edge of exhaustion.
The “how much longer?”
I noticed it in myself too—
tight jaw, held breath.
So I paused.
Softened. Breathed.
Not to fix it—
but to move through it.
✨ One moment at a time
✨ One breath at a time
Some seasons ask more of us.
Steady is enough.
Spring will come. 🌱
