Rating my pregnancies and postpartum experiences from easiest to hardest 🤍🤰🤱

Every pregnancy, every postpartum season, and every baby is different — even in the same body. I went into pregnancy expecting a “fit pregnancy” and learned quickly that expectations don’t always match reality.

Pelvic pain, changing energy, mental health shifts, breastfeeding, postpartum recovery, and the transition from one baby to two… and then three — each season asked something different of me.

Some pregnancies were physically harder.
Some postpartum periods were emotionally heavier.
And some seasons surprised me in the best ways.

As a prenatal and postpartum fitness coach, I see this all the time: comparison steals compassion. Your experience doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s to be valid. 🫶🏼

Whether you’re navigating pelvic floor symptoms, postpartum recovery, diastasis recti, newborn life, or the mental load of motherhood, your body is not failing — it’s adapting.

I’m gently mourning the end of my newborn chapters while feeling deeply grateful for this new season of watching my babies grow.

Getting to be their mama through every phase is something I’ll never take for granted 🤍

FAQ I get all the time 👇
“How do I know if I have diastasis recti?”

But first; Save this so you can come back later 💛

👉Feel for:
• Width (how many fingers fit)
• Depth (does it sink or gently push back?)
• Tension (can you generate firmness?)

But remember that:
👉 Width alone doesn’t tell the full story
👉Function matters more than the gap
👉You should be able to create tension by engaging your deep core muscles — think trampoline, not sinkhole.👇

This is where core rehab comes into play.

Many women see diastasis improve on its own over time. If a gap persists and you have symptoms like leaking, pain, or heaviness, a pelvic floor physio can help guide recovery. 🫶🏼

So much has changed in the past few weeks — and I’m so excited to be sharing this new chapter with you. 💕

If you want to stay up to date on new class offerings and my return from maternity leave, keep following along here on social media — I’ll be posting all classes!

Also, if you’ve been hoping for specific classes like prenatal exercise or yoga, please send me a message. These classes are added to the schedule based on interest, so the more requests I get, the sooner I can make them happen!
