January is wrapping up.
Before you rush into February, take a few quiet minutes this weekend to check in with yourself.

Not to judge.
Not to grade your “performance.”
Not to start over.

But to notice what’s actually working in real life.

It’s not surprising that by mid-February, nearly 80% of New Year’s resolutions have already fallen off. Not because people don’t care; but because most plans never get adjusted once reality sets in.

So instead of letting your goals fade…
What if you used this weekend to reflect, refine, and re-ignite?
Ask yourself:

✨ Where am I overcomplicating something that could be simpler?
✨ What habits have I truly shown up for?
✨ What sounded great in theory but doesn’t fit my lifestyle?
✨ On my busiest, messiest day - what does my real “bare minimum” look like?
✨ What patterns gave me energy this month? What consistently drained it?
✨ Which intentions still spark excitement and which need tweaking?
✨ If nothing changed for the next 3 months, how would I feel?
✨ What small win am I overlooking right now?

Course-correcting is part of the process. It IS NOT a setback & moving the goalpost IS NOT failure. It’s you aligning ambition with reality so your goals work with your life - not against it.

Well, this may be the most fun post I have ever made. Nothing hits quite like nostalgia on a Monday for that serotonin boost! ✨️

The year was 2016.

I was growing a business, signing my first lease on a studio space, launching merch, being told (firmly) that LMF (LilMissFit) needed a social media presence (hello Snapchat & Instagram in its baby era full of boomerangs, heavy filters, chaotic photo collages. ELITE TIMES 😄 ).

The team and I, were saying YES to everything; community collaborations, expos, workshops - sharing the Misfit mission wherever we could. Building in real time. BOOTS ON THE GROUND! 💪

I lived by the mottos "perfect is boring" and "do it scared "- often simultaneously.

Opening the new space back in July of 2025 was a deep nod to those early 2015–2017 days, which makes us feel ahead of the curve of the "Instagram 2016" viral moment we are seeing currently! 😎

We love a full-circle moment; the kind that feels clearer with time, steadier with wisdom, and rooted in memories that show us how far we’ve come.

Here’s a real question worth sitting with:
What is it actually costing you to stay where you are?

Our memberships aren't about paying for workouts and gym equipment. They exist because progress requires an environment that keeps you moving forward even on the days you don’t feel like it with trainers and a community that wants to know your story. What's often missing is a place that makes doing the thing unavoidable. Our memberships provide that accountability.

You don’t need extreme.
You don’t need perfection.

You need a place that helps you show up regularly, calls out the stories that keep you stuck, and supports the part of you that already knows this matters.

Six months from now, the money will be gone either way. The only real question is whether you’ll feel the same… or finally feel different.

Welcome to the first Monday of the next 52 weeks! We all have inner thoughts we need to either completley reject or challenge with solutions if we want to see transformation this year.

Have you ever said to yourself the following :

• “Is this just how my body is going to feel from now on… sore, stiff, and tired or is that just a story I’ve been telling myself?”

• “I don’t want extreme - I just want to move without pain and wake up with energy.”

• "I used to feel strong… when did that stop?”

• “How am I this tired when I didn’t even do that much today?”

• “What would life feel like if I completely workshopped my sleep, nutrition, & hormone function?

• What if I committed for real , not perfectly, but consistently - where could I be in 6 months?

• Could I become almost unrecognizable… not just physically, but in how I think, move, and show up (or through the energy I bring into a room).

• Am I tired because I’m getting older - or perhaps because I’ve been neglecting myself?

• What would change in my life if I wasn’t always frustrated with lack of range of motion and mobility?

• Is it selfish to prioritize my health now… or is it actually overdue and about damn time.

• “What if the success secret isnt strict discipline but a wild desire for results.

These next few days may have you reflecting on what you want 2026 to look like; and how you want to equip yourself for growth, confidence, and the next level in various areas of your life.

One meaningful way to do that is by strengthening your readiness and ability to care for others in moments of crisis.

Our next First Aid and CPR class will be held at the White City Fire Department on January 27th. Space is limited, and registration is now open online.
