A big milestone for Splatsin Homes. 🏠

This week, our team successfully stood the first full wall at the show home site in Enderby — the result of extensive planning, design, and research behind the scenes.

This moment represents more than just construction progress. It marks the transition from concept to reality, as the vision for Splatsin Homes begins to take shape.

Over the next week, the remainder of the show home will continue to go up, bringing us one step closer to delivering high-quality, energy-efficient housing for our community.

This build is also serving as a training home, providing our team with hands-on experience in the science, systems, and construction methods that define the Splatsin Homes approach.

We’re proud of the progress and excited for what’s ahead.

🚧 Project Update | Shuswap North Okanagan Rail Trail

Yucmenlúcwu Civil Construction crews continue to make strong progress on the Shuswap North Okanagan Rail Trail, with work now focused on completing the final details of the Mara Community Hall parking lot, located beside the Shuswap River.

Fence installation is coming along nicely, adding both structure and visual appeal to the site while helping define the space.

On Tuesday, April 7, crews also completed a transition strip between the parking lot and the rail trail. This feature not only creates a clean, finished look—it’s designed to:

✔ Improve drainage
✔ Reduce w**d and grass growth along the fence line
✔ Support the long-term durability of the area

The Mara Community Hall has been a gathering place for over 100 years, making these improvements a meaningful enhancement for both the community and trail users.

Great to see the attention to detail as this portion of the project comes together. More updates and photos to come as work continues!

Waytk,

Two new benches were installed at Riverside Community Hall (Ashton Creek) on March 25, 2026 — created and installed by Splatsin Homes.

These benches are more than just places to sit. Built using reclaimed wood from the historic Baxter Bridge, they carry forward a piece of our shared history while creating a space for connection in the present.

Whether it’s a quiet moment, a conversation with family, or time spent watching children play nearby, we hope these benches become a meaningful gathering place for community members.

Take a moment next time you’re at Ashton Creek Hall to sit, reflect, and enjoy the space. 💛
