Every Saturday from 12-3pm, the fitness studio will be open to the public to come check out the space. Jake will be around to answers questions about our Personal Training and Nutrition coaching services.

showing off his impressive 350 pound deadlift for 7 reps. This is two weeks after hitting his 1-rep max of 425 pounds. This is almost exactly one year to the day where he started deadlifting just 95 pounds.

It’s been a pleasure watching Rich crush his goals and get stronger, leaner, and faster!

The only bad (and humbling) part of his success in the gym is that he’s now bigger and stronger than his trainer. Time to get to work .

Introducing the newest member to the Motus Strength Health Club Team, Jake Cook! He will be working daily in the mornings, evenings, and Saturdays! 🙏

Jake is a certified personal trainer, nutritionist, and health coach with a strong academic background in human physiology, nutrition, and wellness. He holds a Masters in Human Health & Nutritional Sciences from the University of Guelph and a BSc in Biology from Providence College.

Jake’s health coaching approach begins with fitness as the foundation - focusing on aligned movement, functional strength, and confidence building. Once that foundation is established, he incorporates balanced nutrition guidance and supportive lifestyle habits to help clients improve their energy, metabolism, recovery, and overall well-being. His calm, educational style creates an environment where clients feel supported, capable, and empowered from the moment they begin training.

His philosophy is guided by the principles of Alignment, Empowerment, Vitality, and Oneness, helping clients build healthier, more connected relationships with their bodies and daily actions.
