Camp days are happening at Wellington County Speech Therapy Erin!
Perfect for families who are:
- looking for a little break in routine,
- wanting evidenced based speech and language support for their school-age children
- enjoy that it is eligible for insurance coverage
- open to all abilities

Starting in July, Monday morning and Monday afternoon half day camps are available.

Registration is for 6 Mondays, but you have 7 weeks to get your days in.

Your child will work with a Speech Language Pathologist, Communicative Disorder Assistant and our lovely volunteers to target:
- language
- vocabulary
- comprehension
- speech sound development
- literacy
- social skill development
and MORE

Each week is themed and will involve lots of creative and outdoor time!

2:1 ratio adults to children

Receipts provided each week that can be submitted to private health benefits!

Remember, everyone’s experience is unique. What worked for me, may not work for you. I always encourage others to seek support sooner rather than later. This is already a tricky time in life. No need to make it harder!

If you are in need of services in 2026, we have lots of options for you.

If you want to be seen in Erin, you can book online with Jennifer or Natalie at www.wellingtoncountyspeechtherapy.com or call us at 519-315-9505. No waitlist for assessments!

If you want to be seen in Fergus, here are the options:
1. You can book with our SLP Jocelyn, on a Wednesday, for the assessment and be seen at a different time of day/day of the week with one of our CDAs
2. You can make a one-off trip to Erin for the assessment with Jennifer, then transfer back to the Fergus clinic to be seen for regular services.
3. If you have had an assessment completed at school or by the preschool language program within the last 6 months, send us a copy of the report and we can get you started with services right away.

Our reading program, speech therapy and language support continue to be available in Fergus. Infant feeding services are on pause until Emily is back from leave. Please reach out if you need support finding an alternative provider.

There are so many ways to use toys flexibly to target so many goals!

We love open ended play options, like the vet shop! Here are some more ideas (in case you need some last minute gift ideas…)
