Our studio will be taking a little winter rest ❄️

🛑 Closed: December 19–28 (Christmas break)
🧘‍♀️ Limited classes: December 28 – January 3
📅 New schedule launches: January 5

The only thing trickier than finding time to exercise postpartum, is navigating exercise with a toddler in tow.

If you’re struggling to find a way to get a workout in, we’ve been there and done that. There are classes available at times that are mama approved.

Maintaining weight loss goals during the holiday season is HARD. Since I’m still breastfeeding, I’m not calorie counting but I am calorie aware. Here are things I’m doing to stay on track:

1. Load the veggies on the plate - more than half of my plate is vegetables anytime I’m out and that includes appetizers

2. Bring a lower calorie option to share. Recreate your favourite dip with a protein spin or bring that yummy salad with a light dressing

3. Don’t be afraid to say no or let people know that you’re on a weight loss journey. I almost always bring a dessert tray to one of our family Christmas gatherings and weeks in advance I let the host know that I’d be bringing a vegetable option instead. Now I know there’s a menu item that will keep me full without regrets.

4. Eat the treats if you really want them, but simply move on after and don’t take them home :)

Well I guess the weighted vest helped… and so did some other things. Losing weight postpartum is hard, but I’m just a regular gal who managed to lose some of the baby weight after 2 consecutive cesarean sections. If you’re looking for tips and tricks, take a follow because I’m about to share them all.
