Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome often causes severe muscle & joint pain, dislocations, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), common variable immunodeficiency disorder (CVID), and other neurological dysfunctions. EDS is a silent disorder, so to others, those with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome often appear just fine. But EDS is often the cause of chronic pain, which causes physical and mental compensation. The toll on the person is often debilitating.
