This 30 Day Winter Reset challenge is about making take to restore, relax and repair the body, as well as reconnecting and deepening your practice. It's about growing YOU, and each other by connecting, sharing, encouraging, and being inspired and supported by our beautiful yoga community.��Making the time over this busy holiday season to keep the body and mind calm and healthy.

We all have been so programmed to moving and doing, living in a world that celebrates doing more and operating in the sympathetic nervous state, our bodies forget how to relax activate the Parasympathetic Nervous State. While its really easy to activate and get into the flight or fight mode, it takes way longer to get into the restore, relax and repair mode. Practicing relaxing, shavasana, meditation and stillness in the body is a great way to begin to program the body to know when it’s time to relax.

These 30 practices are gentle accessible practices which include slowing moving of the body, meditation, restorative and yin practices. All Practices are around 30 minutes or less.

My incredible staff and myself put together an online pre-recorded 30 Winter Reset. This Winter Reset challenge is about making take to restore, relax and repair the body, as well as reconnecting and deepening your practice. GIRLVANA: Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm Starting November 12th

Calling on teen girls to take part in this class and learn about self-worth, the power of having a voice, the importance of building strong healthy friendships, and understanding their bodies.

Kelsey Rydberg, owner of Soul Hideout in Estevan, has taken extensive training with Ally Mazerolle (Ambassador for Lululemon and creator of Girlvana Yoga) on connecting with Teen girls and developing a Yoga, Meditation and Journaling program to help them in their journey of life.

When: Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm Starting November 12th
(Runs 4 weeks with finishing Dec 3)
Investment: $60 (includes gst)

Here is a little bit more about Girlvana.
Being a teenager can be a beautiful and fun time in your life. It can also be a complicated time, filled with self-doubt and worries of not belonging. Focusing on activities, relationships and school work can be complicated and hard to do all at once. It may feel as though your not doing it right, or your not doing good enough - its tough to feel like you belong when social media is telling you that you don't.
Now more than ever teen girls need to be lifted up, supported and in an environment where they can feel safe and be heard.

Girlvana Yoga helps give teens the tools they need to cope through the challenging events and situations of her life.
Helping spread light and love through yoga and meditation. Giving your teen an opportunity to move their body, connect, socialize, and different was to cope with stress, anxiety and peer pressure.

Yoga for Dancers, Gymnasts & Athletes!

This class is dedicated to help dancers, gymnasts and athletes, develop the knowledge to develop flexibility and strength for their art/sport. We will focus a lot on stretching, lengthening and strengthening the hamstrings (splits), mobility and flexibility in the hips (straddle split and hip rotation). We will also focus on lengthening and decompressing the spine, as well as strengthening the core and upper body. While focusing on these practices we will integrate the theories of yoga principals and breath work and incorporate them to help us find the most space in our bodies.

Thursdays 4:15-5:00pm commencing Thursday November 6th - December 18th (7 weeks for $105).

The knowledge of Yoga, awareness, self acceptance and breath work is something that I wished I would have had as a professional dancer growing up. I feel this is very important, and I want my daughters who are also young dancers to be able to gain the benefits of this class as well.

I would love to help your child/teen gain the mobility and knowledge they need to perform to their greatest potential. This isn't just for dancers, but any type of athlete that wants to gain flexibility, strength, and mobility in a safe and encouraging environment.

Most people are aware that a regular practice of yoga can help reduce stress. Yet, most people are hesitant or nervous to try yoga. Please be assured that we offer many classes that are suitable for you to begin your yoga practice with, and NO, you don't need to be flexible to do yoga. Yoga means "union" not only of the body and mind but also your mind and spirit. Through breath practice, yoga can help you lower your heart rate and shift your nervous system into a relaxed state, helping you to cope better with stress.

I visited my family doctor back in early Spring of 2023 and she had expressed to me how much she wished people would practice yoga and meditation. She had told me of her concern with so many people coming for help about not being able to cope with anxiety and stress. She said that it worries her. She said "YOU CAN HELP SO MANY PEOPLE."
And I know I can.
To this day for myself, I have never found anything that checks off all the boxes from fitness to nervous system regulation to emotional balancing. YOGA DOES IT ALL. I am committed to this practice and will always be.
If you have dipped in and out of practice NOW is the time to commit to yourself. Your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being need you in this practice. Because honestly, NOTHING feels as good as YOGA!!! Its true. Ultimately, Yoga is a feeling, not a shape. This is truly a time where everyone needs yoga so badly.
Our number one priority is to find deep, nourishing relaxation so that we can truly experience our HIGHEST SELF. It is this place that we find joy, deep purpose, love.
Nothing is better than this.

When you practice yoga in person at OM Yoga Studio, you have access to professional guidance and support from experienced, educated and certified yoga teachers. (Heidi with 20 years of yoga teaching experience, Kim with over 21 years of professional dance and yoga teaching experience and Marissa with 11 years of experience and 16 years of massage)This is particularly beneficial for beginners who may not be familiar with the various yoga poses or breathing techniques. We can provide modifications and adjustments to help you achieve proper alignment and prevent injury. When you do yoga at home, you have to rely on an online source to help you, which doesn’t correct you if you’re doing something wrong.
At OM Yoga Studio we can provide personalized guidance and support that caters to your individual needs and goals. This can be helpful for individuals recovering from injuries or those with specific health conditions.
