This 30 Day Winter Reset challenge is about making take to restore, relax and repair the body, as well as reconnecting and deepening your practice. It's about growing YOU, and each other by connecting, sharing, encouraging, and being inspired and supported by our beautiful yoga community.��Making the time over this busy holiday season to keep the body and mind calm and healthy.
We all have been so programmed to moving and doing, living in a world that celebrates doing more and operating in the sympathetic nervous state, our bodies forget how to relax activate the Parasympathetic Nervous State. While its really easy to activate and get into the flight or fight mode, it takes way longer to get into the restore, relax and repair mode. Practicing relaxing, shavasana, meditation and stillness in the body is a great way to begin to program the body to know when it’s time to relax.
These 30 practices are gentle accessible practices which include slowing moving of the body, meditation, restorative and yin practices. All Practices are around 30 minutes or less.
