Beginner Noon Yoga!!! Yogis we are trying to get a beginner yoga class going Fridays with Marissa Friess.

When: Fridays 12:10-12:50pm
Starting Friday March 6th and runs for nine weeks.

Enjoy some midday movement and meditation to increase energy and focus. This gentle yoga class is great for beginners or any level of experience is welcome. We are pleased to bring back the Spring Renewal and Growth offer at OM! We are even extending it a week longer of classes! We would like to continue to encourage our students to practice in an environment that is safe, supportive and welcoming. Welcome your weekend with Slow & Steady Saturday
When: 9:30-10:45am with alternating instructors each week.
Where: In studio @ OM or Live Zoom from the comfort of your home!
Investment: $135 for 9 weeks of classes starting March 7th.
Are you going to miss a class? NO WORRIES, you can make it up by coming to any other class that works with your schedule by February 28th 2026.
Following a Kripalu tradition of compassionate and mindful movement, you will be guided through a practice to help wake up and connect the body and mind. Through traditional pranayama (breathing) and asanas (postures) combined with variations that suit your body, you will be invited to find freedom in your practice, to allow the body to open and to find strength while maintaining a connection to your own inner wisdom. This practice is suitable for all levels, beginner to advanced.

Not sure where to start?? Here is a great opportunity to join Beginner Yoga at OM Yoga Studio!!

When: Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm (Starts March 4th)
Class runs for 9 weeks for only $135! AND If you miss a class you can make it up by coming to any other class offered at OM by May 2nd 2026.

Beginner Yoga where the movement is slow and each movement is linked with breath. This gentle beginner yoga class is essentially what it sounds like—a gentler style of hatha yoga practice. It is performed at a slower pace, with less intense positions, and usually includes extended time for meditation, yogic breath work, and relaxation. Modifications are done to help people of all levels enjoy the benefits of yoga without putting themselves at risk for injuries. There is a stronger emphasis on stretching, seated poses and low-impact movements.

Drop ins are still available for $19 per class.
This class will have an alternate instructor each week with Jackie Schlamp and Dan Wilvers leading the class.

It's time to Slow down...... Join Slowasana with Kelsey!!!
This will be a slow moving class focused on turning inward and slowing down. It is a Yin based practice with slow movements. We will create a meditative state where healing can take place. This class is simply an opportunity to breathe, feel and heal. We will enjoy a warm candle lit room, perfect for finding some coziness this winter.
When: Thursday 8:30-9:30pm Starting March 5th

Therapeutic Bliss Flow combines breath therapy, slow yin/yang flow and combination of self-massage and MFR techniques, optional hands on assists and Thai massage.
This is an IN STUDIO class only as teacher will be off the mat assisting students for majority of class.
This class commences Wednesday Janaury 7th 7:00-8:15pm. Option to register for the 9 weeks of classes for $135 and drop ins are always available.
We are so glad to be offering hands on assists and touch again in a safe and nurturing environment.

It took me a LONG TIME, to realize that my body was craving a balance between working hard/strengthening and relaxation/stretching.

Yogis get ready to meet the best of both worlds. Vinyasa for the first half of the class, building heat endurance, flexibility and strength in a supportive environment, encouraging the link between mindful body movement and the breath. Mellow out for the second half of class. This Yin Yoga portion of the class practices placing healthy, gentle, regenerative stress on the connective tissue of the body - tendons, ligaments, fascia. Postures are practiced carefully and mindfully and are held for longer periods of time to allow gradual and safe restoration of the connective tissue. This calm, beneficial practice is a great counter training to more active styles of yoga and helps to reduce aches, pains, and overall physical and mental tension and stress.

Join me, Kim Mayuk, Wednesday Mornings 9:30-10:45am for Vin & Yin. Class commences Wednesday March 4th and runs for 9 weeks for only $135.

Join FLOW AND RESTORE - Thursdays 7-8pm with Kelsey Rydberg!
Class commences Thursday March 5th
Investment: $135 for 9 weeks of classes
This class is about the balance that yoga can bring into our lives on and off the mat.
Come flow for the first half of class to bring fluidity and movement to the body. The Yang (active) practice involves flow of breath with movement to build heat, strength, stamina and stability.
Then find stillness and calm the body as we move through some Yin (passive) and very restorative poses that allow us to surrender deeply into stretches that release muscular tension and open connective tissues.
This is a great class for beginners or any yogi as modifications are always given. You can expect to leave this class feeling balanced, recharged and blissed. This will be a perfect balance of Yin and Yang energies.
Miss a week? NO PROBLEM!! Make it up by coming to any other class by May 2nd 2026 OR take the class with you wherever you go by taking the class LIVE VIA ZOOM!

STILL - AFTER 10 YEARS OF TEACHING YOGA...
This is where my passion lies....
My soul lights up when I teach Vinyasa.... this Is the yoga I first fell in love with and still am.
All of my young life I thought I had to break my body to achieve success. Dancing, running, whatever it may have been.... really any type of physical activity, I thought I wasn’t doing my best if I wasn’t physically exhausted or pushed to pain. I thought I wasn’t “trying hard enough” if it didn’t hurt.
You don’t need to break yourself, you are already good enough, you are already doing enough.

When I started practicing yoga, I discovered I could work my body in a completely new way. I didn’t have to push to pain or through it, I didn’t have to do just “one more”. I was already doing enough.....

I was able to listen, to feel, to open up to a new sense of WHAT DO I NEED?

Rejuvenating Chair Yoga begins on Tuesday March 3rd and Thursday March 5th

This yoga class is designed for those with difficulty kneeling and balancing. Chairs and supported standing postures will be used to make the class as accessible as possible.
Although many people believe yoga is only for the young and flexible, we believe yoga is for EVERY body. In recent years, many studies of the practice of yoga have proven that yoga helps support the immune system, improves balance, strength, and flexibility, helps maintain cardiovascular health, improves joint health, and can help prevent memory loss. By reducing stress, both physical and mental, and through improved blood flow and strength, yoga promotes healing, reduces inflammation, supports bone health, improves posture, reduces stress on internal organs, and helps maintain range of motion in all joints.
This practice will be a supported standing practice designed for those with limited mobility and/or balance or those with injuries that prevent them from practicing on the floor. We will focus on stability, mobility, strength, individual modifications for injuries and deterioration of the joints, and relaxation. Oh yes... and having fun as a cOMmunity of yogis!

Yoga for Dancers, Gymnasts & Athletes!
This class is dedicated to help dancers, gymnasts and athletes, develop the knowledge to develop flexibility and strength for their art/sport. We will focus a lot on stretching, lengthening and strengthening the hamstrings (splits), mobility and flexibility in the hips (straddle split and hip rotation). We will also focus on lengthening and decompressing the spine, as well as strengthening the core and upper body. While focusing on these practices we will integrate the theories of yoga principals and breath work and incorporate them to help us find the most space in our bodies.

4:15-5:00pm commencing Thursday March 5th (9 weeks for $135)

The knowledge of Yoga, awareness, self acceptance and breath work is something that I wished I would have had as a professional dancer growing up. I feel this is very important, and I want my daughters who are also young dancers to be able to gain the benefits of this class as well.

I would love to help your child/teen gain the mobility and knowledge they need to perform to their greatest potential. This isn't just for dancers, but any type of athlete that wants to gain flexibility, strength, and mobility in a safe and encouraging environment.

Yoga is an amazing way to start the day. In this practice, we will focus on finding our root, a firm foundation from which we can grow, move, and strengthen. From this firm foundation, we will flow, or maybe we will roll, but we will always move with compassion and mindfulness as we open our bodies, minds, and hearts to our practice.
