Chicken Fajita
Ingredients:
• 3 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tbsp honey
• Juice of 1 lemon
• 1 tsp chili powder
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp paprika
• ½ tsp cumin
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp black pepper
• 500 g boneless chicken (breast or thighs)
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, Walden Farms or Steeves pancake syrup, lemon juice and all spices.
2. Add chicken and coat evenly on all sides.
3. Cover and marinate for at least 1 hour (best 3–4 hours).
4. Grill or pan-cook over medium heat for 6–8 minutes per side until fully cooked.
CILANTRO LEMON CHICKEN
Ingredients:
• 3 tbsp olive oil
• Juice of 1 lemon
• 1 tsp lemon zest
• 2 tbsp fresh cilantro (finely chopped)
• 2 garlic cloves (minced)
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp black pepper
• 500 g boneless chicken
Instructions:
1. Mix olive oil, lemon juice, zest, cilantro and garlic.
2. Add chicken and massage marinade into the meat.
3. Marinate for 1–2 hours.
4. Grill, bake at 200°C (400°F) for 25–30 minutes, or cook in a pan until golden and cooked through.
GARLIC LEMON CHICKEN
Ingredients:
• 3 tbsp olive oil
• Juice of 1 lemon
• 1 tsp lemon zest
• 3 garlic cloves (crushed)
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp black pepper
• 500 g boneless chicken
Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
2. Coat chicken thoroughly with marinade.
3. Marinate for at least 1 hour (up to 4 hours for deeper flavor).
4. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 25–30 minutes or grill until juicy and fully cooked.
Note:
Marinated chicken can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. You can also freeze it (in an airtight bag) for up to 2 months. Always cook until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F). ❤️
