💙 How many years have you worked at St. Joseph's Hospital?
"I’ve been at St. Joe's for 1 year now." - Jill

💙 What made you choose a career in diagnostic imaging?
"I was drawn to diagnostic imaging as a career because it is a mix of patient care and technical work. It feels meaningful and it’s a career where I am always learning. I also like that it doesn’t lock me into one lane. As an MRT, you start in X-ray, then can move into things like MRI or CT. I’ve moved into CT while working at St Joseph’s, but I like knowing that the career can always grow with me. I have options if I ever want to switch things up!" - Jill

We are proud to hire local contractors for our MRI project as we work towards opening up this new service in 2026! Turnbull Excavating is proud to be a part of bringing this vital service to our community.

"We are thrilled that we are able to be a part of a project that our community came together to bring to life. Having the MRI service in our town will be a great addition as over the years we have all known someone who has been forced to deal with long wait times and lots of travelling. Our hospital provides care for not only Estevan, but several surrounding communities that this will also benefit. This is a welcomed addition to our hospital."

💙 How long have you worked at St. Joseph's Hospital?
"I have been working at St. Joe's since the beginning of July, so just about 4 months."

💙 What made you choose a career as a pharmacy tech?
"I chose a career as a pharmacy tech as I have always loved helping people, and all through high school I was interested in healthcare and science, so decided to take my chances at pharmacy!"
