The flu is a respiratory infection that can be caused by influenza
viruses.
In North America, flu often strikes between October and April.
Most who get the flu will recover within 7 to 10 days, but some
are at a higher risk of developing complications such as
pneumonia.
Symptoms can include:
• Headaches
• Chills
• Coughing
• Fever
• Muscle aches
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea

We offer a variety of products and services, tailored to suit the needs of our community, such as : easy prescriptions fill and refills, compliance packing, compounding, medication reviews, medication synchronization, patient assessment for altering medication therapy, health coaching, travel vaccination, immunizations, smoking cessation, diabetic consultation and free home delivery upon request. We offer private and semi private consultation rooms to protect our patient’s privacy. We also carry a full front store offering, complete with Carlton cards and magazines, comprehensive selection of vitamins and supplements, incontinence products, health and beauty products, stationary items, over-the-counter medications and much more.

As pharmacists with additional prescribing authority, we can initiate drug therapy and/or manage ongoing medications or even prescribe an alternate drug therapy based on patient’s health care needs and their best interest. We can also help when you run out of your medications and can’t see you physician by extending your prescriptions. Our pharmacy team comprises of pharmacist, pharmacy assistants and a nurse. Yes, a nurse who has worked for AHS in Emergency and pediatrics and now specializes in geriatric/senior care with more than 6 years of experience.
