March is Nutrition Month, and it’s also a great time to recognize Registered Dietitians Day!

Dietitians provide support through every stage of life, offering guidance that promotes healthy growth, builds resilience, and helps prevent or manage a wide range of health concerns.

Today, we’re proud to recognize Rebecca, our Registered Dietitian, whose knowledge and dedication help individuals better understand the connection between nutrition and overall wellness. Through personalized counselling, she supports patients in reaching goals such as managing high blood pressure, improving cholesterol levels, and navigating conditions like prediabetes and diabetes.

Today, we celebrate the women who enrich our hospital and uplift our communities. International Women’s Day is a time to recognize the achievements, resilience, and leadership of women, both here in our community and around the world.

At the same time, this day reminds us of the ongoing work needed to advance gender equality and create inclusive environments where everyone feels respected and supported. Together, we can continue learning, listening, and taking meaningful steps toward a more equitable future.

Social Work Week in Ontario is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the compassion, skill, and commitment of social workers across our province. Their work supports individuals and families through life’s challenges, advocates for dignity and equity, and helps people navigate complex systems. It strengthens both individuals and our communities as a whole.

To our wonderful social worker and the entire team at Huron Community Mental Health Services, thank you. Our communities are stronger because of you, and we are grateful for the impact you continue to make.
