Just my newest little doctor in training.

For my girls I pray they find a path in life that lights them up.

Medicine is changing (it has to), and it has been equal parts terrifying and invigorating to do medicine differently!

I'm grateful for those who have gone ahead (there are some dpc "direct primary care" practices that have been open 20 years) and excited for those who are up and coming.

My dream has always been to be able to do medicine in a way that is sustainable, creative and relational.

We can personalize and be creative with your approach on your wellbeing journey. The membership option means that you are prioritized for timely appointments, have access to education, as well as direct messaging with Dr. Sara. This is a way we can provide exceptional, personal, and direct care.

Two things in this picture bring me so much joy!

(1) Kitchen Table - yes as I re-entered medicine I felt it was so important to sit at a table with my patients. A literal table!

(2) A poster for Aging with Attitude on said table. I have found I have a love for education, speaking and connecting with community! This event was the first event I attended as a physician here in Sauk Centre 10 years ago AND this is my 2nd time speaking in the past three years. It is such an honor to be invited!

Have you ever been told that EVERYTHING is NORMAL - such as labs, imaging, and so on AND you also don't feel good/"normal".

I find myself often explaining to my patients that our labs, and imaging are only as sensitive as the technology is. Your body is way more sensitive!

Also "Normal" is not equal to "Optimal"

A: DPC = direct primary care.

Direct - just what it means, direct relationship between you and your doc

Primary care - able to care for all the usual primary care needs- wellness/yearly physical, sick visits, well child, women's health
