Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year to all of our wonderful and loyal clients and customers!
In true Bistro fashion, the new year brings more new upgrades. FAIRVIEW FOOTCARE will be moving next door where Nicole, Shay and Krista will continue to provide advanced footcare and pedicure services.
We will be renovating and expanding the kitchen area to accommodate our busy little soup, sandwich and bakery!
The coffee shop will be open during renovations, however today will be the last day for soups and sandwiches until the renos are complete.
We are excited for the changes and the opportunity to serve our community even better!

When our barista’s get an idea we just roll with it…

Allow me to introduce the Nicole’s 😂

First off we have Kelly as our carefree casual vacation/profile picture Nicole.

Next up is Sydney, she’s our wild teenage dairy farmer Nicole.

Then there’s Alexa. Smart and creative “make your own grad dress” Nicole.

Followed by Dalia, rocking the babe boss power blazer Nicole.

And finally me (Shay), just keeping the dream alive as hardworking footcare Nicole.

These girls keep us on our toes and always bring a smile to our face. Shout out to Alecia (Nicole’s daughter) for swiping all these clothes outta Nicole’s closet.

We couldn’t be more proud of our staff here at The Old Bistro. Sydney said on Friday night while accepting her award that it’s more like a family here and we agree. There’s been a few girls to come and go throughout the years and we’ve considered them all to be like family. We wouldn’t be where we are today without you all and without all of our lovely amazing clients, thank you so much for supporting us through the years.

Now for the major shout out… Nicole Heck! I mean there’s not enough space to tell you all how incredible she truly is🩷 Anyone who knows Nicole knows how hard she works but I’ve had the pleasure of working with Nicole for many many years now and I get to see the behind the scenes action. From getting to the shop at 6am to start baking, to working a full day with clients, to finishing the day off with errands and books and taking care of her home as well. I’m not sure when Nicole finds the time to sleep! She is kind and compassionate and will do whatever is needed to help out in anyway she can, from the countless fundraisers she donates to and the many boards she’s on, she really is one of a kind.

When Nicole decided to start up this business I blindly followed her (let’s get serious she’ll never get rid of me). I have learned so much from her and couldn’t imagine working along side anyone else. I’ve been extremely lucky to be apart of this amazing FAMILY that we call The Old Bistro and it wouldn’t be an excellent workplace without an excellent leader! So congratulations to The Old Bistro staff and an even bigger congratulations to Nicole for being excellent.
