🌟What a fantastic year it has been in our Training Studio For Women 🫶🏻

I couldn’t be happier with the Ladies that join our sessions each day.

We had an awesome burst of New Members join our Holiday program and all are super happy that instead of going backwards over the Holidays, they are leaner, stronger , healthier, which makes them all happier day to day.

Being happy helps us live longer, so it’s important that if we want to be happier, we start within ourselves.💕

And that is where it all begins.

We have developed an amazing space for Women over the past 2 years where they can work on their health and mindset goals free from judgment.

It’s not about being perfect.

We all have burdens and things we carry each day that could easily bring us down, close us off and continue to deplete our health,

But instead ,

We learn how to push through life’s ups and downs and become more resilient to set backs and stressors.

Because we can all be together , and because we are all compassionate towards each other, it makes it easier to keep our routines consistent, even on our worst day.

Because that is what matters….

Can you show up even on your worst day?

Once you reach postmenopause, your hormones are low and stable. If you're already consistently active (moderate to high activity level), then there’s some good news. New research (published this month) in Exercise and Sports Sciences Reviews shows that exercise can potentially offset the negative impacts of estradiol loss by activating similar molecular pathways as estrogen, thus aiding in the preservation of health during the postmenopausal period.

In simple terms, delaying physical activity until well into menopause reduces the effectiveness of exercise, so if you don't already have an exercise habit before you reach menopause, be sure to get one! Assuming you are already moderately or highly active, then here are some other tips I’d suggest:

Keep lifting heavy—but rest more: Your recovery time is longer now. Adjust volume, not intensity.

Power and mobility are your friends: Explosive movements, yoga, and active recovery will all pay dividends.

Stay social and strategic: Train with others, follow a plan (consistency matters!), and track how you feel.

Your goals: Maintain strength. Prevent decline. Stay sharp and mobile.

My Name is Sarah Rose and I am a Personal Training Specialist, CPR & AED certified as well as Trigger Point Level 1, Active Aging Specialist, and Thai Yoga Stretch Therapist. I recently attained my On-Line Personal Training Certification as well to expand and serve those from distance locations.

I spent 16 years working as an Educational Assistant. I Grew up loving dance classes and community sports.
